The pink era has come to the garden, that is when I can most enjoy the splendor of pink flowers. I'm not saying that this is my favorite era, because I really like all the periods of the year, but probably these are the days when garden shows the softest general effect to us. Let's see what we can find.

Elérkezett a rózsaszín időszak a kertben, vagyis amikor leginkább élvezhetem a rózsaszín virágok pompáját. Nem mondom, hogy a kedvencem, mert igazából minden időszakot szeretek, de talán ezekben a napokban mutatja a kert a leglágyabb összhatást. Lássuk, mit is találunk.

The Weigela that I planted last autumn has survived the winter and gifts us with some flowers.

A tavaly ültetett rózsalonc sikeresen átvészelte a telet, és néhány virággal is megajándékozott.

Lupins are the old love of mine: I was already felt in love with these torch-like flowers when I had browsed the English garden design books. It was not easy but finally I succeeded to find the proper place to them, since then they sprout and bloom reliably in every year.

A csillagfürt már régi szerelem: amikor az angol kertépítészeti könyveket bújtam, már akkor beleszerelmesedtem ezekbe a fáklyaszerű virágokba. Nehéz volt, de végül sikerül nekik jó helyet találnom, azóta minden évben megbízhatóan kihajtanak és virágoznak.

This year I've chosen summer flowers to the back terrace also in the shades of pink: the Pinnate Dahlia is standing alone, meanwhile in the long balcony boxes I put some mixed composition together. I felt like buying some everbearing strawberries as well, which has also pink flowers, I wonder it will bear some fruits or not.

Az idén a hátsó teraszra is rózsaszín árnyaltban választottam egynyári virágokat: a törpedália magányosan áll, míg a hosszú balkonládákban vegyes kompozíciót állítottam össze. Kedvet kaptam a folyton érő eperhez is, ami szintén rózsaszín virágokat hoz, kíváncsi vagyok, hogy fog teremni.

Because of late frosts the old roses are in buds yet, but the newly planted hybrids has already delighted us with their first flowers.

A kései fagyok miatt a régi rózsáim még nem, de a friss telepítésű hibridek már megörvendeztettek az első virágokkal.

Pink is a dominant color in the plant islands as well: besides Moss Phlox the cottage garden pinks form a pink pillow following the edges. The helianthemums are reliable since years, although maybe I should cut them. The evergreen candytuft is also the purchase of this year and brings some pale rose flowers, too.

Well, it was our pink tour in the garden for today. We have otherwise a terrible weather these days, but I hope in the weekend I can enrich the garden riports with more colors.

A növényszigetekben is most a rózsaszín a domináns szín: a lángvirágok mellett most már a tollas szegfű is, mint rózsaszín párna követi a szegélyt. A napvirágok is megbízhatóak már évek óta, bár lehet vissza kellene nyírnom őket. Idei szerzemény az örökzöld tatárvirág, ami szintén halvány rózsaszín virágokat hoz.

Hát ennyi lett volna mai rózsaszín kirándulásunk a kertben, jelenleg napok óta szörnyű idő van, de hétvégén remélem újabb színekkel gazdagíthatom a kerti beszámolókat.
